Subcommittees
NAReS has, at present, four portfolio holders who are tasked with a number of different roles. Their main functions are, however:

to monitor current and proposed changes to legislation in order to ensure that member groups are aware;

to draft guidance notes specific to their work area for member groups.
Each working group meets at least twice a year and is co-ordinated by the holder. They in turn report back to the executive committee. The four portfolios are:

Health and Safety

Edged weapons

Equestrian
-
Firearms, pyrotechnics and black powder
All member groups can nominate a representative to these working groups to ensure they have an input into any guidance produced and to learn from others experiences.
